When seconds count, rest assured that long-term, regular patients of Willow Animal Hospital can be seen (either in-office or remotely) for serious injuries and illnesses during our office hours- Monday-Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday 8:30am-9:30pm and Sunday 8am-4pm.

After Hours Emergencies should go to the closest Regional Emergency Animal Hospital.

What constitutes an emergency?

If your pet is experiencing any of the following symptoms or a symptom you feel is an emergency please call (703) 754-8000 during our open hours, or contact one of the emergency clinics:

  • A Temperature Above 104°F or Below 99°F
  • Respiratory Distress
  • Uncontrolled Diarrhea and/or Vomiting
  • Unconsciousness
  • Profuse or Continuous Bleeding
  • Ongoing Seizures
  • Severely Bloated Abdomen
  • Staggering, Loss of Balance
  • Ingestion of a Toxic Substance
  • Inability to Urinate
